Good morning! I had to start my fast last night because of previous engagement scheduled for this evening (that I may not even attend), but this is not as hard as I thought it would be, so far. I also struggle with getting my water in, so this fast should help me with that. I will say that I'm a little concerned with my sugar. Last night it started dropping low and I did have to have something small to bring my numbers back up. I don't think this was because of the fast, it's just not as stable as I'd like it to be, and I'm not sure why. I'm hoping this fast helps my body process my stored fast for energy which should help my numbers as well. I know someone who started off fasting for a week and extended it to 40 days because he could. I'm not interested in that, but the way he spoke about the level of mental clarity he had during that time was amazing! I'm on my Do Me Better journey so I'm dedicated to myself.
